At Little Steps, Big Futures, we empower young mothers, young families, and families affected by addiction across British Columbia. Through education, life skills training, and compassionate support, we provide a safe and nurturing space with access to childcare, mental health resources, and mentorship. Our goal is to help young families build strong, independent futures for themselves and their children.
We believe in the strength and potential of every young parent. Our programs are designed to build confidence, self-reliance, and leadership in young families.
We provide non-judgmental, trauma-informed care that meets young families where they’re at and honours their lived experiences, including those involving addiction and systemic challenges.
We are committed to supporting long-term success through education, life skills training, and mental health support tailored to each family’s needs.
We honour all cultures and identities, with a special focus on Indigenous youth. Our programs integrate culturally safe practices and traditional teachings.
We foster a strong sense of belonging by reducing isolation and creating opportunities for peer support, mentorship, and family-centered activities.
We know that supporting parents means supporting their children. We provide access to quality childcare, early learning, and developmental resources.
